2. The longest Bulgarian word has 39 letters – непротивоконституционствувателствувайте. It means ‘don’t act against the Constitution’.
3. Bulgarians celebrate the Bulgarian language, script, and culture on May 24 each year. The Bulgarian Orthodox Church also celebrates Cyril and Methodius, the brothers who are attributed with inventing the Cyrillic script, on the same day.
