Professional requirements:

  • One of the following:
    • A recognised graduate qualification in translation,
    • A recognised graduate qualification in another field plus two years’ full-time professional translation experience,
    • Five years’ full-time professional experience in translation.
  • Expert mastery of your source and target languages.
  • Good knowledge of CAT tools, such as Trados Studio, memoQ, Phrase, or Across.
  • Valid professional indemnity insurance.
  • For post-editing work, demonstrable training or experience with this type of project.
